Recycle Challenge for Crafty Cardmakers
Well it's been ages since I last posted not that I haven't been crafting but I just haven't got round to taking some pictures of what I have been doing. I did get some taken today though of my latest project. I bought a little sun catcher kit from Hobbycraft that was snowflakes so right for this time of year, after I had painted them with the paints in the kit I decided to use an old Sellotape Roll to create a decoration for my room for Christmas. I pinched some twine from my Mum along with some ribbon, used some seasonal pegs I've has for ages and viola one decoration.

A Special Birthday Card
This is the birthday card I made for my big sister Sarah who has just turned 21.
I used my Mum's Craft Robo to cut out some letters and some digital images. These included two monkeys, a camel and Dudley on a cake from Dustin Pike. Lalia from Wags n Whiskers and two fairy cakes from Delightful Inspiration. I coloured these with Mum's promarkers.
On the edge of the letter I used s quickie glue pen and some gilding flakes to give a nice finish,(bet you can't tell who the gilding flakes belong to!)
I used some different coloured card blanks to create my base card, added my coloured images and some toppers Mum bought me to create my card. Sarah was very pleased with it and so I am.

Some projects to share
I was given a sand art set for Christmas and did most of it straight away, I enjoyed doing this and wanted to show you all what I had done.
This handsome chap started life as a brown dog but using some decopatch paper I covered him all over. I am really pleased at how this turned out and would like to do some more.
This is Bismark by Mo Manning and I coloured him with promarkers then cut him with nesties. I used some paper from my stash and a peel off for a greeting.

This is Whiff of Joy's Charlotte with letter, I coloured it with promarkers, conned Mum into cutting it out,I used paper from my stash, used the Tim Holtz tattered flowers die for the big flowers, the small ones are from my stash and I used the infinity punch for the strip across the card.
